바빌로니아의 에키모(the Babylonian Ekimu) :: One of the most feared of aincent vampires, found among the Assyrians and Babylonians. It is said to be a departed spirit, the soul of a dead person unable to find peace. The creature wondered over the earth waiting to attack. There were many ways in which a person could become an Ekimmu, among these were violent/premature death, unfulfilled love and improper burial.
가장 무시무시한 고대 뱀파이어중 하나랍니다. 죽은 사람 영혼이 구천을 떠돌면서 사람들을 공격한다고 하네요...억울한 죽음, 갑작스러운 죽음을 겪은 사람이거나 사랑을 이루지 못하고 죽은 사람이거나 잘못 매장된 사람들이 에키모가 된데요...우리나라 전설의 고향에 나오는 귀신들하고 비슷하네요....

중국의 강시(Chinese Kuang-Shi): A Chinese vampire, caused by the demonic poession of a recently deceased corpse. Said to have a terrifying apperance, as it matures it gains new skills with the older among them rumoured to have the ability to fly.
강시가 흡혈귀였던가요...? 한때 선풍적인 인기를 끌었었지요....좀비인줄 알았는데...'멋진 외모'라니...세상에...

히브류의 모텟(Motetz Dam of the Hebrews) : 고대 헤브류의 흡혈귀랍니다.

고대 그리스와 로마의 모르모(the Mormo of ancient Greece and Rome) : A vampire from Greek mythology, said to be a servant of the goddess Hecate. Considered to be a terrible denizen of the underworld.
그리스 신화에 등장하는 흡혈귀랍니다. Hecate신(달,지상,지하를 지배하는 여신)의 종이었다고도 하구요...지하세계에 사는 무시무시한 존재였다고도 하네요....-__-;;;

루마니아의 노스페라투(Nosferatu of Transylvania): A Romanian species of vampire, said to be the illegitimate child of parents who were illegitimate. Soon after its burial the Nosferatu embarks on a long career of destruction. It delights in tormenting and engaging in wild orgies with the living. The male can father children. The vampire hates newly married couples due to its own illegitmatcy and wreaks its revenge on such couples by making the groom impotent and the bride barren.
우리가 흔히 말하는 흡혈귀 드라큘라를 가리키는 말입니다. 호오~우리가 알고 있는 바와는 좀 다르네요...사생아로 태어났기 때문에 새로 맺어진 커플이 아이를 가질 수 없도록 저주를 한다는구만요....
